I know I have mentioned before that I have a podcast/youtube channel called Chats from the Blog Cabin where I chat with some interesting people? Sometimes I know them and sometimes I don’t. But one of the things I am really passionate about is supporting farmers. And I love it when I get to bring farmers on the show to chat. In one particular episode, I had Marlowe who is the executive director of Feed the Dialogue as well as a pig farmer.
Marlowe is someone who will not only be guest posting soon but she is also going to allow me to shadow her one day to see what hog farming is all about. ( She also knows so much about farming that I have to give her some of the credit for this blog. You see it was a series of events that lead me to start this blog. One as I mentioned before was working at the local agritourism farm and the second was attending a tour that Marlowe’s organization, Feed the Dialogue was cohosting with Farm Bureau. That was when the idea started to percolate in my mind about starting this blog.
I can’t wait for you to get to know Marlowe more in the coming months but for now, you can be content in watching this video or you can listen to the podcast.
