Welcome to The Writer and The Farmer. This blog has been a long time in the making. I came up with the idea in late 2019 and was set to launch it in early 2020 but then Covid hit. I started thinking long and hard about how could I justify another blog where I would go visit farms when everyone was urging us to stay home. So on the back burner, it went. Instead of launching it, I launched something so totally out of my comfort zone. A live youtube and podcast called Chats from the Blog Cabin.
So it is only fitting that for launching this new venture, I would use what I created instead to announce it. And that is what I did. I went to our local Agritourism farm, Odom Farming Company, and shot on location the below announcement and special episode of Chats From the Blog Cabin.
