If you had asked me at the beginning of the summer what my favorite day of the week is I would have said it wouldn’t matter I don’t have a favorite day of the week. But then something happened. I was scrolling through Instagram one day and noticed that a local farmer, Pinkney Farms was offering a free flower delivery one week because they would be on vacation the following week. So because I love flowers I was like okay sure I mean really what a way to treat myself. So I quickly replied that I wanted to get a delivery. Who knew it would be the highlight of my week and my girls aka Allie and Gigi ( the pups) love it too. So keep reading to find out why Tuesdays are my favorite days now.
I was so impressed by the first delivery that I messaged Amber ( who coincidentally went to school with my middle daughter) and asked if it was too late to get on her CSA flower delivery route. She told me it wasn’t too late so my love affair with Tuesdays began.
Each Tuesday morning / sometimes Monday night, I set the black bucket outside the front door patiently (okay not so patiently) waiting for the delivery. I never see Amber when she comes because most of the time I am in the blog cabin working. But somehow the bucket magically produces a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
I am impressed every week ( as are the dogs ) with the quality and the arrangements of flowers. One week I was left a surprise for just supporting her business. ( Y’all when I say that farmers have to be the sweetest people I mean it).
Check out the pictures below for the pictures of each week’s bouquets. And you might get to see a picture or 2 of the fur babies. Allie is the small black and white Shih Tzu and Gigi is the bigger dog. And Markie, our Calico cat makes an appearance in one of them.
Now you can see why Tuesdays are my favorite days.
